Nicole Vreugdenhil winner of the Inaugural Braemar Charitable Trust Anaesthetic Techncian Trainee Award

The Braemar Charitable Trust wishes to congratulate Nicole Vreugdenhil for being the winner of the inaugural Braemar Charitable Trust Anaesthetic Technician Award. Nicole who is based in Invercargill, received four nominations for this award from her colleagues at the Southern DHB.Here is some of the reasons why Nicole was selected as the winner of this award:

"Nicole has been a consistent reliable Trainee and would benefit greatly going on Conference. She thrives on new knowledge and would eagerly bring it back to the department".

"I believe she would benefit from networking with a wide group of trained anaesthetic techs from different hospitals. She is diligent with her work covering waiting list initiatives when required at the weekends".

"Nicole is a supermum with a beautiful baby girl"  and "is a team player and always willing to do extra to help our small hardworking team down at SDHB"

"She is passionate about her role as a tech, shows compassion to our patients and has shown a lot of support to our new trainee, also helps out with teaching."

Trust Manager Paula Baker said, "funding professional development, education and training is a core pillar of the Braemar Charitable Trust's funding strategy and we delighted to be able to award Nicole this prize that will cover her registration, travel and accommodation to attend the 2020 NZATS Conference in the Bay of Islands in November".
