The Braemar Charitable Trust is really excited to share the news that Arts for Health Community Trust won the “Arts Access Holdsworth Creative Space Award 2020” at the recent Te Putanga Toi Arts Access Awards 2020.
Braemar Charitable Trust Manager Paula Baker said "We were pleased to provide a letter on behalf of Braemar Charitable Trust to support Arts for Health’s nomination for this award and are so thrilled that the Arts for Health team have been recognised for the fantastic work they do in our community".
The Braemar Charitable Trust have supported Arts for Health Community Trust for the last 3 years through sponsoring an Arts studio, funding weekly Arts Therapy workshops in Waikato Hospital in the Older Persons and Stroke Rehabilitations wards and during the COVID lockdown, through the Waikato Community Funders Group COVID Response Fund, provides funds to enable Arts for Health to ”go digital” and enable the people they support to continue to meet via “Zui”.
