Independent Chairperson

Vicky was appointed as Independent Chair in September 2023. Highly experienced, she is the previous Chair of Trust Waikato and current Chair or Alandale Foundation Trust and Alandale Lifecare Limited. She is also a Trustee for Perry's Outdoor Education Trust and a member of the Institute of Directors. In September 2025 Vicky became Chair of Rotorua Continuing Care Trust, the board that governs The Care Village, a retirement village specialising in retirement care based on an innovative Dutch model focusing on creating a normal life for residents through small scale household-style care.

Between 2008 and 2017 Vicky was Principal at Waikato Diocesan School for Girls, before moving into a strong governance career in the for-purpose sector. She is also a Partner-Provider for the NZ School Boards Association, providing professional development and governance support to school boards.

Vicky aims to combine her governance skills and experience with her community connections to enhance the work of Braemar Charitable Trust. "I feel privileged to be leading this innovative charitable trust that has the drive and focus required to improve health equity and access and enhance health outcomes in our region."
