Proud to be a sponsor of the Braemar Charitable Trust Science Spinners Scholarship Award and Science Spinners, hands-on creative mini-labs with Kudos scientists & experts. July 5 &6 Claudelands Event Centre

Really excited to be a sponsor of the Science Spinners Programme and student scholarship award again this year. Science Spinners is a free hands-on STEM rotational programme helping to ignite students passion about science! Three fully-interactive, one-day programmes for students in years 9-13 cover schools right across the Waikato, the Bay of Plenty including Rotorua and Auckland.

Led by carefully curated Kudos scientists, professionals in STEM fields and digi-tech experts, our programmes offer interactive engagement and problem-based learning in a ‘real world’ environment, focusing on real challenges relevant to to the youth of Aotearoa.

Science Spinners is the Kudos Science Trust’s education and outreach arm, connecting students with scientists, experts and industry through practical hands-on STEM programmes.

We’re about giving students a taste of science in a way that’s interesting, engaging and empowering to inspire them into the exciting world of STEM careers.

We support the educational aspirations into the medical pathway for students from our vulnerable communities. This year the Trust will be awarding a $1000 scholarship award to a Science Spinners student, past or present who is pursuing a Medical pathway. The aim of this scholarship is to support educational, travel, stationery or tuition costs for further study or acceptance into health or medical courses through any tertiary provider. Submissions can be made by a teacher, career counsellor or principal. The student must submit a 1000 word essay describing the pathway they are interested in, and how this scholarship could help them to reach their goals.
