Outstanding Anaesthetic Technicians recognised by Bramar Charitable Trust

Each year at the Anaesthetic Technician Annual Conference and Awards in November, outstanding Anaesthetic Technicians from across New Zealand are recognised for their commitment to improving their practice and dedication to their profession. This year, the Braemar Charitable Trust is funding an additional prize, to acknowledge this commitment to excellence. Trust Manager Paula Baker said she is "delighted on behalf of the Braemar Charitable Trust to enable a worthy recipient to attend the annual annual conference through providing this an award. It fits well with our "Braemar means Excellence" philosophy and in addition to being recognised by their peers, the conference is an opportunity for attendees to learn and network with colleagues across New Zealand". Currently the Braemar Charitable Trust funds a scholarship programme through Braemar Hospital, with three Anaesthetic Technicians currently in the programme and completing their training.
