ParkRun says Thank You to Braemar Trust

ParkRun Cambridge and Hamilton

ParkRun organise free, weekly, 5km timed runs throughout the world.

They are open to everyone, free, and are safe and easy to take part in. They are about inclusiveness and wellbeing, with the goal of having a ParkRun in every community. The Braemar Charitable Trust were approached by ParkRun Cambridge and Hamilton seeking support for the purchase of two Automated External Defibrillators and were very happy to support this great community based initiative as outlined below:

“Park run participants and volunteers are very grateful to the Braemar Hospital Charitable Trust for donating an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) for each of the Waikato events; Hamilton Lake and Cambridge New Zealand park runs. Of course we are hoping not to have any medical emergencies at a park run event, but are reassured to have an AED available alongside our first aid kits at each weekly event should it ever be necessary. Thanks very much Braemar Hospital Charitable Trust for supporting park run in this way”.
