Braemar Hospital Opens New Nikau Wing

The Braemar Charitable Trust is excited to share that Braemar Hospital has become the second largest private hospital in New Zealand with the completion of its recently opened $6.5m 18-bed Nikau Wing and Whaanau Room.  The milestone is yet another significant achievement in Braemar's 97-year history. As 100% shareholder of Braemar Hospital, we are very proud of our not-for-profit legacy in the Waikato, and we will continue our commitment to recognising and serving the health needs of our community. In addition to improving health outcomes through our partnerships and collaboration with community-based organisations, and our charitable activities in the areas of medical research, charitable surgeries and health sector capability building, we continue to support Braemar Hospital to plan for future developments that will support and enable 200 nearly credentialed specialists to do their best work at Braemar.
