Eyes on an Exciting Future For Braemar Hospital

The Boards and senior management of the Braemar Charitable Trust and Braemar Hospital, recently took some time out to spend a day together reflecting on where we have come from and to explore our vision and aspirations for the future. Braemar Charitable Trust Manager Paula Baker said "In an increasingly complex, dynamic and rapidly changing landscape, it was a great opportunity to connect, brainstorm and have the freedom to think outside the box in terms of how best we can position for ourselves to continue to provide excellent healthcare to communities, both now and in the future.  The diversity of experience, thought, background and expertise on both Boards in combination with the depth of leadership across both management teams, really enabled us to challenge the status quo and identify some possible future scenarios to strengthen and continually improve the services provided across the Braemar family". The day was superbly facilitated by Braemar Hospital CEO, Fiona Michel and supported by thought provoking pre-reading and presentations by members of the leadership team. All of which provided a solid platform for co-creating workstreams that will enhance Braemar's value proposition- providing excellence in healthcare, improving health outcomes in our community through our charitable activities and being a great place to work.
