Funding health sector related professional development, education and training is a core pillar of the Braemar Charitable Trust's charitable purpose. We have partnered with the New Zealand Anaesthetic Technician Society to fund an annual award that covers the registration, travel and accommodation costs to enable an Anaesthetic Technician trainee to attend the 2022 NZATS Conference later in the year.
The Braemar Charitable Trust Anaesthetic Technician Trainee Adversity Award is open to trainees who have overcome extraordinary challenges whilst maintaining professional and educational standards. The award may take into account any challenges trainees have faced since 2020.
This will be the second year we have provided the award and follows on from the Trusts Anaesthetic Technician Scholarship programme where we funded three Aneasthetic Technicians to complete their training through funding thier academic studies and providing their clinical placement at Braemar Hospital.
Nominations may be put forward by two individuals-one being the Charge Anaesthetic Technician and the other a Consultant Anaesthetist, Trainee Anaesthetist, Educator or Workplace Assessor and should be sent to: email@example.com . Applications are open until 31 July 2022
